En Sarmiento y Los Niches estarán operativos los SUR, entre 08:00 y 16:0 horas entre viernes y domingo.

Este fin de semana es de celebraciones y por lo mismo surgen urgencias relacionadas con problemas estomacales y exceso de ingesta de alcohol. Es por eso que la red de urgencias de la comuna de Curicó ya se encuentra preparada para estos tres días festivos.

La encargada de urgencias, la Enfermera Marcela Toledo, quien además es jefa del SAR Aguas Negras, sostuvo que “los SAR siguen trabajando veinticuatro horas, los siete días de la semana, hemos reforzado más que nada con médicos, porque sabemos que estas fiestas se espera que aumente las consultas por la parte gastrointestinal”.

En cuanto a la compra de carne o comidas en lugares no habilitados sanitariamente, la enfermera remarcó que “tratar de consumir los alimentos, las comidas que yo compre en lugares ojalá autorizados, obviamente que la carne no sea de lugares clandestinos”.

LIMITAR EL CONSUMO DE ALCOHOL

La profesional del Departamento de Salud de Curicó también abordó el consumo de alcohol en exceso, el que además de producir urgencias de tipo estomacales, también puede llevar a que se generen peleas o riñas y accidentes de tránsito por el manejo bajo los efectos del alcohol.

“La parte de las enfermedades gastrointestinales, la diarrea, el vómito que viene después y agreguémosle un poquito el alcohol. Entonces tenemos que moderarnos en el consumo de alcohol, que a veces trae peleas adentro de las familias. Hay que limitarse un poco y seguir cuidándose, los aforos. Estos son tiempos para reunirse en familia”, añadió Marcela Toledo.

SUR y SAPU CENTRAL

En relación a los sectores rurales, los SUR (Servicio de Urgencia Rural) de Los Niches y Sarmiento, se mantienen con el mismo horario de funcionamiento. “Recordar que los SUR están trabajando de las cinco de la tarde hasta las doce de la noche, eso es de lunes a viernes y los fines de semanas y festivos trabajan de ocho a cuatro de la tarde y el Sapu Central, trabaja de las ocho de la mañana hasta las una de la mañana y ellos atienden todos los días”, detalló Toledo.

Para quienes presenten síntomas respiratorios, deben acudir al SAR de Aguas Negras o SAR de Bombero Garrido, los que se mantienen en funcionamiento 24/7.
